The objectives of the contest:
- Promote children’s interest in national culture, history and Christian values;
- Acquaint young painters with moral and spiritual values of their native country;
- Promote aesthetic and creativity education of children;
- Help art teachers exchange their pedagogical experience;
- Improve international relations.
Topics:
History of Christianity, history of the homeland, images of famous people in culture and education, Christian relics and nature of the homeland.
Separate nominations:
- “The Beauty of the Homeland.”
- “Christian Festivals”
- “Our Heavenly Protectors”
Competitors:
Children of the four age groups are encouraged to participate in the contest: 5 to 8 years; 9 to 11 years; 12 to 14 years; 15 to 18 years.
Materials and technique: painting technique (gouache, watercolour, batik) and different drawing techniques.
Drawings and paintings, Sunday and public schools are nominated in different categories.

Please mail your artworks to Draugija „Slovo“, Debreceno 48, LT-94149 Klaipeda, Lithuania until April 13, 2018
Format of works:
You do not need to frame the drawings or place them in the passepartout. Author’s name, surname, age, title of the work, address of the school or author should be placed on the back of the drawing. We kindly ask you to include the list of paintings with exact email and mailing address (stamps or signatures are not necessary). The art works sent to the contest will not be returned by post.
Final results:
Information about finals results will be posted on //blagovestnik.lt in June 2018.
The diplomas will be mailed until November 30, 2018.
